Ideas for Future Trips

Here are some ideas for futures trips I've heard suggested. Add your own!

Twin Arrows.

La Posada, Winslow, and the rail yards.

B-17 crash site on Humphrey's (http://www.aircraftarchaeology.com/b17sanfranpeaks.html) This will require a strenuous hike.

Tunnels under Flagstaff. This one will take some networking.

Tunnels under campus. Likewise.

Luke Air Force Base (best in winter).

Per Cat:

Glider adventure!
  • buy $25 worth of balsawood/plastic gliders, maybe Kites
  • go to Two Guns or somewhere similar in the desert. (tall places. Cinder Lake?)
  • go throw the gliders off the tall things.

Today, Cat and Julie suggested that we might go to the Gem and Mineral show in Tucson in February.

We could stay in Phoenix, which would be cheaper, and drive down to Tucson for the actual show, and go down.

Regarding staying in Phoenix, we could stay at Luke AFB real cheap.

What about the Flintstones park? It's apparently near the Grand Canyon.
